Please read these terms carefully before using JephAi. By using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Service Description
JephAi is an AI-powered educational platform designed to help candidates prepare for CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and FRM (Financial Risk Manager) examinations. Our services include:

2. User Accounts and Responsibilities
Account Creation
To use JephAi, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

Maintaining secure passwords and login credentials
Account Activity
All activity under your account is your responsibility
Age Requirement
Must be 18+ or have parental consent
Account Restrictions
- • One account per person
- • No sharing of login credentials
- • No creation of multiple accounts to circumvent limitations
- • Immediate notification required for any security breaches
3. Payment Terms and Billing
Subscription Plans
Billing Cycle
- • Monthly billing on subscription date
- • Automatic renewal unless cancelled
- • Prorated billing for plan changes
- • All payments processed securely via Stripe
Exam Pass
- • One payment: Basic €69, Premium €99, Advanced €149. It does not renew.
- • Covers one exam level, chosen at checkout, from payment until 7 days after the exam date you give (at most 12 months).
- • Access starts immediately at your express request. You acknowledge at checkout that the 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content ends once access begins, so a pass is not refundable after purchase, except where the law requires it.
- • Retake extension: if you don't pass, you may extend the pass once, free, to a new exam date for the same level. The extension is available from your exam date until 90 days after the pass ends, and the new date must be within 12 months.
- • Buying a pass while on a monthly plan stops that plan: a free trial ends at once, and a paid month runs to its end without renewing.
Payment Policies
Cancellation Policy
Cancel anytime. Access continues until end of billing period.
Refund Policy
Monthly plans: no refunds for partial months; full refund within 7 days of the first payment of a new subscription. Exam passes: see above. Request a refund from the Billing page; it tells you straight away whether the payment qualifies. For anything else, such as a double charge, contact us. Full details: Refund Policy.
Failed Payments
Account suspended after 3 failed payment attempts.
Price Changes
30-day notice for any price increases.
4. Content and Intellectual Property
Our Content
All content on JephAi, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and AI-generated materials, is owned by JephAi or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
What You Can Do
- • Use our content for personal study purposes
- • Make your own notes from it
- • Print individual pages for your own use
Your Content
When you submit content to JephAi (such as questions, comments, or feedback), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute that content for improving our services.
Prohibited Uses
- • Copying or redistributing our content without permission
- • Using our content for commercial purposes
- • Creating derivative works from our materials
- • Reverse engineering our AI systems
5. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use JephAi for any of the following prohibited activities:
Technical Violations
- • Attempting to hack, breach, or circumvent security
- • Scraping, crawling, bulk-downloading or otherwise extracting content from the app or its database, including with scripts, bots or browser tools
- • Sharing your login, or letting others use your account
- • Overloading our servers or networks
- • Attempting to reverse engineer our systems
Content Violations
- • Sharing copyrighted content without permission
- • Posting harmful, offensive, or illegal content
- • Impersonating others or providing false information
- • Spamming or sending unsolicited communications
Commercial Violations
- • Reselling or redistributing our content
- • Using our service for commercial purposes
- • Creating competing services using our content
- • Violating any applicable laws or regulations
Account Violations
- • Sharing account credentials with others
- • Creating multiple accounts to bypass limits
- • Using the service on behalf of others
- • Interfering with other users' experience
Fair use of Jeph. Paid plans that include Jeph, the AI tutor, have no daily or monthly question limit you need to manage. Jeph is for one student's own study: automated use, or use far beyond what one person studying could need, isn't allowed. If we see that on an account, we will contact you first, and if it continues we may limit Jeph on that account. Free trials have their own limit, shown in the app.
If we detect any of these, especially copying or extracting our questions and study materials, we may suspend or close the account without a refund and ask for copies to be taken down wherever they are published.
6. Account Termination
Your Right to Terminate
- • Cancel your subscription at any time
- • Access continues until end of billing period
- • No cancellation fees or penalties
- • Download your data before termination
Our Right to Terminate
- • Violation of these terms
- • Fraudulent or illegal activity
- • Abuse of our systems or staff
- • Non-payment of fees
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your access to JephAi will be disabled and your data may be deleted according to our retention policy. We recommend downloading any important data before termination.
7. Disclaimers and Limitations
Service Disclaimer
JephAi is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that our service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date content, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided.
Exam Success Disclaimer
While JephAi is designed to help you prepare for CFA and FRM examinations, we cannot guarantee that you will pass these exams. Exam success depends on many factors including your dedication, study habits, and prior knowledge. Our platform is a study aid, not a guarantee of success.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall JephAi be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for our services in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

Cancel if you disagree with changes
Your Continued Use of JephAi after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you may terminate your account before they take effect.

10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Spain and applicable European Union law. Any disputes arising under these terms will be heard by the courts of Spain. If you use JephAi as a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence in the EU, or your right to bring proceedings in the courts there.
Effective Date: These terms are effective as of 2 October 2026, and supersede all prior agreements.
